The rooms were spacious

Failee maintenance service , toilet wasn’t flushing and AC wasn’t heating in the midst of winter.

The hotel was generally nice and the lobby was spacious . The staff were friendly and supportive . The hotel management were generous by giving us late check out up to 3 pm free of charge .

The hotel facilities outdated especially rooms . My room and bathroom lock were not functioning well . The check in was not acceptable ( it took around 25 minutes ) it seems lack of knowledge .

I was really hoping during this stay I will not experience issues with this hotel, alas hotel was quite busy, only 1 staff was serving for check-in and there were around 10 people in front of me. It took them almost 1 hour to bring the luggage and the baby crib, room washroom faucet was blocked and the water was sprinkling all over the floor, the weighing device in the washroom was out of batteries. It literally feels like they have no maintenance process, they only perform maître upon costumer complaints.

We arrived at the hotel at 2 AM, the window would not seal properly and can hear wind blowing through the room window, second the toilet tank had issues took them almost 2 hours to fix it later in the morning ????, but they extended our stay by 3 hours.

Location

This hotel is large and glitzy, but seems to falter in several measures. The room was a good size with comfortable beds, but the comforter cover didn't fit the comforter. The hotel was quiet for sleeping. The breakfast was excellent, with many choices, freshly prepared eggs and attentive personnel.

Service is uneven. We tried to ask questions by email and phoning before we arrived, but never had a response to messages and found no one answering the phone. We asked for an adapter for the electric, a common item in other hotels, which they promised and never delivered one. The lighting could be improved, especially when some of the electric plugs for lamps don't work; also plugs were limited (none were open near the desk work area). Wifi didn't work well; we needed to use our phones as hotspots.

Gym only opens 9am which is too late, also gym is poorly equipped for a 5 star hotel, Overall I believe this hotel should be rated a 4 stars and for 4 stars it is really good but not comparable to a 5 star one

The room was smiling smoking while it says non smoking rooms!! It was very strong smoking smiling.

Gym and pool only opened at 9am. Travelers will mostly use these facilities in the morning. Restaurant staff no experience. Rooms very old. We were the only guests.Items on the F&B menu not available.

It’s far out of town, google maps is a bit confusing because the entrance isn’t very clear adjacent the university

Very nice location and room. The only negative is the room provided to us was earlier a smoking room and there was a smell of cigarette, which we resolved by opening the windows for few hours. Other than that, it was a nice and decent room.
